Inches House consists of  three beautiful, cottages nestled in the foothills of the Slieve Miskish mountains on the Beara Peninsula in West Cork, Ireland. 

After working on motor yachts in the Mediterranean, John & Maree found, and established, their dream in the construction of Inches House and cottages in 2000.

We provide three luxury Self Catering holiday cottages, all three are Fuchsia Branded and Failte Ireland approved.

In addition we provide Sea Angling and Scenic cruises aboard our boat TIGGER

Maree also offers Reflexology and Ear Candling Treatments in our spacious and relaxing sunroom.

Eyeries Village

Eyeries, renowned for its multi-coloured houses and its panoramic views over the Atlantic has two pubs, two shops, one of these with petrol and diesel pumps, a cafe/restaurant and a post office/shop. In every year since 2003 it has won either a gold or silver medal in the small village category of the Ireland Tidy Towns competition. 

Across the valley from Inches House is the home of the award winning and Fuchsia branded farmhouse cheese 'Milleens', which can be purchased direct from the farm.

The quaint fishing port of Castletownbere is 5km away.  This has a selection of supermarkets, pubs, cafes and restaurants.  It is also the home of McCarthy's bar as featured in the book by the late Pete McCarthy.

There is also a direct ferry service between Swansea and Cork offers at www.fastnetline.com

The current film release "ONDINE" directed by Neil Jordan was filmed entirely on location in Castletownbere and the Beara Peninsula all within 5 miles of Inches House
